El Salvador lived their darkest days for the past 30 years, Ywam Connections has served here since 2013; for 10 years we experienced the worst and most painful era of El Salvador. The Lord, in his infinite mercy, is bringing peace to this nation, and something new is happening for the generations that were born and grew up in fear, now find themselves in a time of true peace. As a team we feel that now is the best time to double our efforts to see El Salvador transformed by our God and to see it complete the purpose God has for El Salvador in the Nations.
The Lord gave us this beautiful word, (John 1:46) Philip excitedly invites and challenges Nathaneal, come and see, experience for yourself who Jesus is and what he is doing. Look at all he says and does. After serving for many years, we have seen his hand as we walk, his care and provision, all we can say is that God is faithful, truly faithful. But we have also been challenged by God to take the same attitude as Philip, to invite people to come and see.
Come and see, let’s work together for the new things God is bringing to the Salvadorians. Let’s build
the Kingdom of God together.
Kvan Family (Utah – USA)
Being a part of YWAM was the highlight of our family’s
trip to El Salvador. While we had spent time at an all
inclusive resort and went surfing in Tunco, living in
community, worshipping, praying and serving was
much more satisfying than other comforts and
conveniences. The whole experience brought our
family together and brought me closer to the
Lord. Everyone at YWAM Connections – Santa Ana was
so authentic, each with their own personality, and this quickly rubbed off on our family with each
of us being comfortable to be our true self that God made us to be. Staying with YWAM was a
wonderful way to build connection with the lord, within our family, the missionaries, and the
people that we were able to serve through various ministries. The YWAM missionaries were
inspiring through their dedication and sacrifice which showed how much God can do when
people put their trust in him and commit to his ways. I hope that our family can return and I am
so grateful for the work that God is doing through
YWAM Connections – Santa Ana.

Outreach Team (México – USA)
My team, my wife and I, all enjoyed our time at the base
so much. when we arrived, we could immediately see
how they live the value #15 of YWAM, because a room
was specially prepared for my wife and I. After very
difficult living conditions in the previous location of
outreach, this blessed us richly. All our team was deeply
impacted by the care and by the passion that they have
for the local communities to know about the love of Jesus. They really desire to be the hands and
feet of Jesus to those who are around them. they are dedicated to serve by providing for basic
needs, teaching about Jesus and sharing the truth of the word of God through teachings. We
searched for God together in times of worship and intercession, which filled our hearts, and
allowed us to work together as the body of Christ.
Outreach Team (Argentina)
As a team we had the opportunity to serve at the base
of Ywam Connections, they organized for us a full
program for our time in Santa Ana. We were very well
received with traditional Salvadorian food, and they
were ready to help us with whatever we needed. We
served together giving out food in the streets and
sharing in different schools with dynamic activities. We
also shared testimonies in local churches, theater
performances, and preaching. We are grateful to all the staff for making us feel at home.

YWAM Transform Sweden
Our experience with Ywam Connections was truly
inspiring. Every member of our team was deeply moved
by the heart of this base and its passion to impact not
only every generation, but every area of society. We
were welcomed into ministry with ease and learned so
much from the staff’s example of genuine love and
selfless service in ministry and base life.
This was the first time our base had returned to Central
America in many years, so we didn’t have any prior connections or relationships in the region.
Thanks to the leadership of Paul Cardenas, we were able to carry out a well-organized and safe
outreach across Guatemala and El Salvador. Through the support of this base, we formed many
beautiful relationships and experienced a powerful, impactful outreach.
Thank you, Ywam Connections El Salvador, for the opportunity and for the warm welcome to
Central America!
ARROWS International Team
Our experience hosted at the Santa Ana YWAM
Connections base was one of the best we’ve had
throughout our 18 years of ministry in nearly 20
nations. Clearly gifted and experienced in hospitality,
their team cared for us beautifully with healthy meals,
clean living spaces, friendly conversations, and
thoughtful explanations about the culture and area;
we felt safe and looked after our whole visit. Even
more importantly, we found shared purpose and
passion in the missions of our 2 groups and truly felt that we worked together to fulfill God’s
purpose in that area. They were also incredibly accommodating with the unique needs of our
dance missions team, planning outreaches and arranging all the necessary logistics with
excellence. Their communication and planning were clear, proactive, supportive, and very well
organized. Our Tour Coordinator sang their praises! Our week in Santa Ana was powerful and an
excellent first experience in El Salvador for our ministry! We are looking forward to co-laboring
with YWAM Connections and Paul Cardenas’ team again in the future. – Arrows International,
